Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring

How Mercedes-Benz Gives Back

The Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring team is proud to be a part of the Mercedes-Benz family. Mercedes-Benz doesn’t just craft some of the best vehicles in the world; the brand is also committed to making the world a better place through initiatives, partnerships, sustainability, and charity. Through the Driving Your Future initiative,  Mercedes-Benz does amazing things to improve our community, country, and global society.

Educational Empowerment

By working with schools, Mercedes-Benz works to develop and expand Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education, especially for underrepresented groups in STEM, like women and minorities. Mercedes-Benz hopes to empower the future workforce by including underrepresented groups and bringing fresh outlooks to STEM fields in the future. Mercedes-Benz works with public schools to provide school supplies, STEM projects, shoes, and opportunities.

Career Readiness

Mercedes-Benz is committed to the future workforce. Teams showcase the latest technology from the brand to inspire the next generation, and Mercedes-Benz employees mentor high school students to connect their classroom learning to real-world skills and capabilities. The brand also partners with Junior Achievement USA to mentor students about financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

Child and Teen Safety

As a brand that’s always been committed to safety, Mercedes-Benz works with Safe Kids Worldwide to promote child safety. Together, they educate children’s caregivers about car seat safety. They also have workshops for kids to learn about passenger, pedestrian, water, and bike safety.

Mercedes-Benz isn’t the only one taking care of the community. The Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring team loves to partner with local charities and events to support our clients, friends, and neighbors.
